Jamie Lynn Spears, 16, says she broke the news of her pregnancy to mom Lynne just before Thanksgiving.

Another Spears baby is reportedly on the way — and it's not Britney's. Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old Zoey 101 star and sister of Britney, told OK! magazine that she's pregnant and that the father is her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.
"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she said. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday.

What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? "I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she told the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in."

After she found out from a doctor that she was pregnant, she said, "I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody."

"Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me," she said.

Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported.

"She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears said. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive."

Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, told the magazine: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

She said her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of her popular Nickelodeon series, has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school.

But in a recent interview with The Associated Press, Spears said she had no steady boyfriend. "I kind of just keep my options open," she said. "I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends." She declined to talk about her older sister.

Spears spoke to the AP shortly before Thanksgiving, the day she told OK! she informed her mother about the pregnancy.

Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana — "so it can have a normal family life."

Nickelodeon released a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

A publicist for the network did not immediately respond to phone and e-mail requests for additional comment.

Zoey 101 is scheduled to conclude its third season Jan. 4 with a cliffhanger episode in which Spears' character must decide whether to leave her fictional Pacific Coast Academy boarding school in California to join her parents in London.

The show is scheduled to resume in February, and its producer, Dan Schneider, has said filming on the fourth season has already been completed.

ATLANTA - Nancy Grace is now the mother of twins, after doctors induced labor two months before her due date. Grace, host of legal affairs talk show "Nancy Grace" on CNN Headline News, gave birth to a boy, John David, and a girl, Lucy Elizabeth, on Sunday, said CNN spokeswoman Janine Iamunno.

John David weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce, and Lucy Elizabeth weighed 2 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

Grace, 48, had developed pulmonary edema — fluid in the lungs — and doctors told her it would be better for her health, and that of the children, if labor was induced, CNN said.

Iamunno said Monday that Grace and the children are doing well.

Grace, a former prosecutor with the Fulton County District Attorney's office, plans to return to hosting her CNN show as soon as possible, Iamunno said.

Grace's husband, David Linch, is an Atlanta investment banker.

Kid Rock was arrested early Sunday after a brawl at a restaurant and spent about 12 hours in jail before being released, police said.

The musician stopped at the Waffle House restaurant shortly after 5 a.m. after his performance at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, authorities said.

"He and five members of his entourage were involved in a fight with a male customer inside the Waffle House," said Mekka Parish, a spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Police Department.

The customer recognized a female with Kid Rock's party and exchanged words with her, Parish said.

"It escalated to a physical altercation between Kid Rock and that male customer and moved outside to the parking lot," she said. At some point the customer punched out a restaurant window, she said.

Kid Rock left in his tour bus and was stopped by police about a mile from the restaurant, Parish said. The musician and five members of his entourage were taken into custody on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.

The other customer was charged with criminal damage to property, a felony, Parish said. Kid Rock was released from the county jail on bond about 5 p.m.

A telephone message left with Kid Rock's publicist was not immediately returned.

The other customer was treated at a hospital for cuts and bruises. No one in Kid Rock's group was hospitalized, police said.

Britney Spears has had her visitation rights with her kids suspended until she complies with all court orders.

The order by L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon came after K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went to court yesterday for an emergency hearing.

The order reads, "Petitioner's (Britney's) visitation with the minor children is suspended pending Petitioner's compliance with the court orders."

Brit's next shot at getting the kids is October 26, when she's been ordered back to court.

The order says, "The parenting coach is to submit a report to the court and counsel prior to October 26, 2007."

Jennifer Lopez has kept her glossy pink lips sealed during recent public appearances, dancing around questions from interviewers wanting to know if she's singing for two.

But her bump speaks loud and clear.

After Lopez made an appearance on MTV's "Total Request Live" on October 8 to promote her new CD, "Brave," cohost Damien Fahey told Us that her condition was obvious.

"I've been around a lot of pregnant women. She walked around like a pregnant woman, sat like a pregnant woman, and stood like a pregnant woman," he says. "If I were a betting man, I'd definitely bet she was pregnant."

Indeed, Us has confirmed from multiple sources that Lopez is about four months pregnant with her first child. Or children -- a source tells Us Lopez's mother, Guadalupe, 61, "is proudly telling people she's having twins."

The 38-year-old singer-actress, who has long expressed her desire to have both career and kids, is ecstatic about the news.

"It's a dream come true," a Lopez source tells Us. "She and Marc are over the moon."

Pregnancy news is especially sweet for Lopez, whom insiders believed was unable to carry a child at all. "[Conceiving] was a struggle for her," says a source.

Seconds another, "This pregnancy is a miracle."

Anthony, 39, who has three children from prior relationships, has been equally eager to expand his brood.

LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears' continuing downward spiral took a devastating turn Monday when she was ordered to relinquish custody of her children by a judge who had cited her drug-and-alcohol-fueled lifestyle.

Superior Court Judge Scott M. Gordon ruled that that ex-husband Kevin Federline will take Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, beginning Wednesday "until further order of the court."

The order stemmed from an unspecified oral motion made by Federline's lawyers and was handled in a closed-door hearing. The judge's order did not state the reason for the change in custody and he ordered all transcripts of the proceedings sealed.

Phone messages left for representatives of Spears and Federline were not immediately returned Monday.

Last month, Gordon said Spears engaged in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol" and ordered her to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody dispute with Federline.

Spears also was previously ordered to meet weekly with a "parenting coach" who was to observe and report back to the court about her parenting skills. Both Spears and Federline must complete the court's "Parenting Without Conflict" class.

Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, were married in October 2004. She filed for divorce last November and it became official in July. The two have joint custody of their sons, but Federline is seeking a greater share of custody.

Since Spears became single, her troubles have played out in the tabloids. First she was photographed at various Hollywood hotspots partying hard with Paris Hilton appearing drunk and out-of-control. Some photos captured the pop star without panties. Then Spears shaved her head as paparazzi captured the moment, beat a car with an umbrella and ended up spending a month in rehab.

An MTV Video Music Awards performance last month meant to herald her comeback was universally panned, with Spears appearing spaced-out and lethargic and, in some eyes, less than buff. The following week, Spears' management firm dropped her and her divorce lawyer resigned.

She then was charged with misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run and driving without a valid license for allegedly crashing into a parked car in August.

The driving offenses likely compelled the judge to issue Monday's orders, said New York divorce lawyer Raoul Felder.

"She was driving without a license with a child in the car," he said. "You can put aside the in and out of rehab, the shaving her head. But this? When a judge went out on a limb for her? There's no going back."

Though Spears must relinquish physical custody of the children until further ruling from the court, she and Federline still share legal custody.

Los Angeles divorce lawyer Connolly Oyler said he's surprised the children weren't taken from Spears sooner. Judges typically remove youngsters from households where parents are ordered to undergo drug testing, he said.

"There may have been another incident and the judge had had enough," Oyler said.

But, he added, all is not lost for Spears.

LAS VEGAS - Wedding bells might not be far off for Pamela Anderson. The former 'Baywatch' star and Rick Salomon applied for — and were granted — a marriage license late Saturday in Las Vegas, according to the Clark County's Marriage License Bureau.

The license means the couple can get married any time during the next year.

Anderson, 40, has been previously married to singer Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.

Salomon, 38, is best-known for making a sex videotape with his then-girlfriend Paris Hilton and was previously married to actress Shannen Doherty.

Anderson's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, did not immediately return a call for comment Sunday.

Earlier this month, Anderson appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and said that she was dating a "mystery man" who was a professional poker player, but would not give any further details.

Report Confirms Owen Wilson Attempted Suicide

A "call to service" report from the Santa Monica Police Department, obtained by the television show "EXTRA," shows that the 911 call from Owen Wilson's home was made because the actor tried to commit suicide.

The call was received shortly after noon on Sunday and was "cleared" some five hours later. "EXTRA" is reporting that it was Owen's brother Luke who found him. Owen was rushed to St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica and later moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Owen Wilson released this brief statement to TMZ through his rep: "I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."

'High School Musical'

Anyone who considers mid-August a dead time for anything original on television definitely doesn't have an elementary-school-aged girl at home.

This week's Disney Channel premiere of "High School Musical 2" is a Friday-night date for millions of youngsters, and the latest example of how cable has stolen the buzz from its broadcast big brothers this summer.

The original "High School Musical" premiered to 7.8 million viewers in January 2006. August felt right for the sequel because it is set in the summertime, said Scott Garner, Disney Channel's senior vice president for programming. By the 17th, summer camp is generally over and school hasn't started yet.

The new movie features the original cast working and having fun at a country club, with the relationships of its main characters sorely tested. Plenty of new songs are lined up for the youthful audience to sing along to.

"If I was a betting man, I would say it would probably be a (ratings) milestone in cable television this year," Garner said.

Cable networks see an opportunity to snap up bored viewers while ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox essentially shift to autopilot in the summer. This year the trend has gone into overdrive, and it's having an impact. Through midsummer, young viewership was down 14 percent from last year on broadcast schedules clogged with repeats, talent and reality programs. Cable was up slightly, Nielsen Media Research said.

The assumption that so many TV sets are turned off during the summer is becoming obsolete, said Jack Wakshlag, chief researcher at Turner Networks. In 1975, with fewer networks to choose from and fewer homes with air conditioners, summer viewership was 15 percent lower than the rest of the year, he said.

In 2005, that difference was only 3 percent -- and it's moving toward a day when there will be just as much TV-watching in July as January, he said.

Another factor in the summertime bounty of choice is the recognition by cable networks that their success increasingly depends upon having signature series that viewers will seek out. That's why AMC, normally a movie channel, developed "Mad Men."

The competition is keen. In 2000, the average home in the United States had access to 61 channels, Nielsen said. By last year, the typical home got 104 channels.

Until the "who shot J.R.?" phenomenon 27 years ago, broadcast networks more often than not drew little attention to the end of the season in May. Brooks said the strategy of seeking a ratings boost through season-ending special events and series cliffhangers may be counterproductive.

"It may bring you back in the fall to see what happens but it also tells you very explicitly that there's nothing going to happen until the fall," he said. "Viewers are taking that as a signal to go elsewhere."

Broadcasters are hardly blind to what's going on.

They pay so much for scripted programming that economic reality locks them in to repeating episodes to get extra ad revenue. Ratings that may make a series a profitable hit on cable represent failure on the bigger stage of a broadcast network. Unless someone figures out something different, networks are locked in to concentrating on cheap reality programming in the summer, hoping to catch lightning with an unexpected hit.

"We all tried a little bit," said Alan Wurtzel, NBC's chief researcher. "But there is no way you can have a full-fledged, 52-week season, both financially and creatively."

The result is ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox sitting back for another few months as the cable competitors continue to chip away at what has always made them special. That's another few months of viewers not checking those networks first when they settle into their couches.

Eric Deggans, television critic for the St. Petersburg Times, watched pilots for each of the new broadcast series starting this fall. He didn't like any of them. Not one.

"When we get to September and October and all the new shows are tried and people are saying, `I'd still rather watch `Dexter" (on Showtime) than this other stuff, then network TV could have some problems," he said.

The broadcast networks suffered through an unexpectedly slow spring. Can they afford this bummer of a summer?

Timberlake, Beyonce top MTV VMA noms

Justin Timberlake and Beyonce lead the pop parade of nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards with seven nods apiece, it was announced Tuesday.

Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" was nominated for video of the year, as was Timberlake's ambitiously cinematic "What Goes Around ... Comes Around," which co-starred Scarlett Johansson. Also competing in the category are Amy Winehouse's "Rehab," Kanye West's "Stronger," Rihanna's "Umbrella" (featuring Jay-Z) and Justice's "D.A.N.C.E."

Timberlake was also nominated for male artist of the year and "most earth shattering collaboration" for pairing with Timbaland for "Sexy Back." Beyonce was nominated for female artist of the year and for her collaboration with Shakira on "Beautiful Liar."

West landed five nominations, including male artist of the year. He has often appeared prickly about losing awards, and on Tuesday he was still sore over being snubbed last year for his Evel Knievel spoof video "Touch the Sky." (In 2005, he did win best male video for "Jesus Walks.")

"I come to win. I don't come to lose," West told MTV Tuesday on "TRL," where the awards were announced. "I think there's some really strong competition this year."

Rihanna also received five nominations, propelled by her hit single, "Umbrella," which is up for "monster single of the year."

Also nominated for male artist of the year was Akon, T.I. and Robin Thicke. Rounding out the nominees for female artist of the year were Fergie and Nelly Furtado.

Amy Winehouse, whose album "Back to Black" was her second disc but her first released in the U.S., was nominated for best new artist. She received three nods, including female artist of the year. In the best new artist category, Winehouse will compete with her compatriot Lily Allen, as well as Carrie Underwood, Gym Class Heroes and Peter Bjorn & John.

Up for best group are Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Linkin Park, Maroon 5 and the White Stripes.

The 24th annual VMAs will be handed out during a live two-hour show on Sept. 9 in Las Vegas at the Palms Hotel and Casino. Only eight categories will be awarded on the broadcast. Performers will include Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Amy Winehouse, Chris Brown, the Foo Fighters and Rihanna.

Timbaland will be the "maestro" of the award show, serving essentially as the evening's DJ. Last year, the Raconteurs played a similar role.

"By me being maestro," said Timbaland, "I am the show."

This would be Lindsay's third stint in rehab, following her previous stays at Wonderland and Promises in the Los Angeles area.

Cirque Lodge was recently named by Town and Country magazine as one of the top substance abuse treatment facilities consistently providing outstanding levels of care.

Cirque Lodge provides alcohol rehab and drug rehab treatment services at two main facilities: the Lodge and the Studio. The Lodge is described as "a private substance abuse mountain retreat with stunning views of both the Sundance Ski Resort and the cirque on beautiful 12,000 foot Mount Timpanogos." The drug treatment center at the Studio is located near the base of Mount Timpanogos and the mouth of Provo Canyon, a world-renowned fly-fishing and ice climbing area.

Admission guidelines state that a thorough history and physical examination will be completed upon arrival by the center's medical staff, and it is also stressed that new participants keep an open mind:

"We believe that recovery involves spiritual healing and ask that all individuals seeking addiction treatment at Cirque Lodge be open to exploring this aspect of their lives," say the guidelines.

Earlier today, the NY Post's Page Six reported that Lindsay had gone to her mother's home on Long Island on Friday. The exact day of Lindsay's reported check-in to The Cirque Lodge is not yet known.

Lindsay is due in court in Santa Monica on August 24, where she will face charges from her Los Angeles arrest on July 24 for suspicion of DUI and driving on a suspended license, as well as previous DUI-related charges.

Spears accused of threatening paparazzi

Britney Spears threw a baby bottle and threatened two photographers after they took pictures of her leaving a Las Vegas spa, the photographers said in a statement Tuesday.

Spears yelled "I am going to kill you!" and cursed at Andrew Deetz, a photographer who says he was beaten by Spears' bodyguard on Thursday, according to a statement released by Deetz's lawyers.

Deetz, 24, is preparing to sue, his lawyers said. The other photographer involved was Kyle Henderson, 23. They both work for a celebrity photography company called Flynet Pictures, which sells to such publications as People and US Weekly, according to Daniel Kogan, a spokesman for Deetz's lawyers.

The men were taking pictures of Spears, 25, as she and her children — 22-month-old Sean Preston Federline and 10-month-old Jayden James Federline — left the spa at the Wynn Las Vegas casino-hotel around 11:30 a.m., accompanied by two bodyguards.

One bodyguard, Cesar Julio Camera, 37, pushed Henderson against the wall until Wynn security intervened and asked Henderson to leave, the statement said.

As they were about 30 paces away and walking in the opposite direction, Camera attacked Deetz from behind, threw him on the ground and punched and kicked him until security pulled him off, it said.

Afterward, Spears ran toward Henderson but was stopped by security, and then threw a baby bottle at him, it said.

Then, in front of several other hotel guests and bystanders, Spears threatened to kill Deetz and said he should get a restraining order against her because she was going to kill him or hire someone that would, it said.

Camera also told Deetz on July 23 outside the Lisa Kline boutique in Beverly Hills, "I have unfinished business with you," the statement alleged.

Spears' lawyer Gary Stiffelman declined to comment.

Wynn Las Vegas released a statement confirming that Spears stayed at the hotel and left on Thursday, but also declined to discuss the confrontation.

"We respect the privacy and do our utmost to maintain the anonymity of our guests," it said.

Las Vegas police issued a summons for a charge of battery to Camera, the only person cited. He could face up to six months in county jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

Stiffelman's office would not relay messages to Camera seeking comment, and The Associated Press was unable to find a phone number for him.

Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline officially ended Monday.

"They are divorced," the pop star's attorney, Laura Wasser, said after a Superior Court hearing. "Everything is finalized."

Court Commissioner Scott Gordon signed orders for dissolution of marriage, an alimony agreement and child custody.

The alimony agreement will not be made public unless there is an enforcement issue, Wasser said.

"Most of that tracks the prenup," the attorney said, without elaborating.

The child custody order was tentatively sealed, pending an Aug. 14 hearing.

"The best interests of the children could be harmed" if the arrangement were not sealed, Gordon said.

Spears married Federline in October 2004, eight months after her first marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander was annulled. She cited irreconcilable differences when she filed for divorce from Federline on Nov. 7, 2006.

Wasser said that Spears was "OK" with the terms of the settlement but that "she would like to be with her kids more."

Since February, Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, have shared joint custody of their two sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James.

Former Nebraska Sen. Bob Kerrey, a friend of Martin's, presided over Saturday's ceremony, Alan Nierob said. Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels was Martin's best man, he said.

Most of the roughly 75 guests — who included Tom Hanks, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Carl Reiner and Ricky Jay — were not told that he and Stringfield would wed when they were invited to his home for a "party," Nierob said. The ensuing nuptials were a surprise to them, he said.

Martin, 61, was previously married to actress Victoria Tennant, whom he divorced in 1994 after about 8 years together, Nierob said.

It was the first marriage for Stringfield, 35, a writer and former staffer for The New Yorker magazine.

The two had dated for about three years, Nierob said.

Martin delivered his vows sporting an Inspector Clouseau mustache he let grow in for his appearance in the upcoming sequel to 2006's "Pink Panther" remake.

His other movies include "Planes, Trains & Automobiles," "L.A. Story," "Parenthood," and "Father of the Bride."

Nicole Ritchie pleaded guilty Friday to driving under the influence of drugs and was sentenced to about four days in jail and fined by a court commissioner who said she was lucky nobody was killed when she drove the wrong way on a freeway.

Richie, the 25-year-old daughter of pop singer Lionel Richie, was subdued and somber as she was lectured about her driving. She entered court on the arm of boyfriend Joel Madden.

Richie, who's rumored to be pregnant but has not confirmed it, wore a loose-fitting, knee-length black dress and spiked heels. She stood before the judge and softly answered "guilty" when asked how she pleaded to the misdemeanor charge. She initially pleaded not guilty in February.

She nodded when asked if she understood terms of the plea agreement (including 90 hours in jail and a fine of $2,048) worked out between her lawyers and prosecutors. Superior Court Commissioner Steven K. Lubell also gave Richie three years of probation and warned that she would go to county jail for a year if she violates it.

She must complete her sentence by Sept. 28. She can serve it in either a city or a county jail.

She was ordered to enroll in a drug and alcohol program and must prove that she has completed it when she returns to court on Feb. 20, 2008.

"You are not to drive with any measurable amount of alcohol or drugs in your system," Lubell told her. "You are not to drive without a driver's license."

He said the state Department of Motor Vehicles would decide whether to suspend her license.

"You are very lucky that no one was hurt of killed as the result of this incident," Lubell said.

Richie was arrested early on Dec. 11 after witnesses reported seeing her black Mercedes-Benz sport utility vehicle headed the wrong way on a freeway in Burbank.

The California Highway Patrol said they found her parked in the car pool lane.

Richie told authorities she had smoked marijuana and taken the prescription painkiller Vicodin, a CHP officer said at the time.

No drugs were found on her or in the car.

Lubell warned Richie of the dangers of driving under the influence and said: "The facts of this case, as the court knows it, is pretty scary. Someone could have gotten killed or injured. The court does not want anything to happen to you.

"If you continue to drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and someone gets killed, you can be charged with murder, not manslaughter.

"I hope that never, ever happens."

"A lot has been made in the press about my relationship with Clive," the former "American Idol" said in her statement. "Much of this has been blown way out of proportion and out of context."

"Contrary to recent characterizations in the press, I'm well aware that Clive is one of the great record men of all time," her statement said. "He has been a key advisor and has been an important force in my success to date."

Clarkson, who co-wrote every track on "My December," gives Davis kudos for releasing the album when he wasn't obligated to do so.

"I really regret how this has turned out and I apologize to those whom I have done disservice," she said. "I would never intentionally hurt anyone. I love music, and I love the people I am blessed to work with."

The 55-year-old singer died two days after doctors at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie took him off life support, said family friend and spokeswoman Celia Novo.

Hadley, who had been battling personal problems, shot himself with an air rifle July 10 at his home in Clinton Corners, 80 miles north of New York City. State police said he was found unconscious on his bedroom floor.

The Illinois-born Hadley sang everything from Mozart to show tunes, including appearing on a recording of "Show Boat" that was a best-seller.

He built his reputation tackling demanding work, including the title role in composer John Harbison's 1999 "The Great Gatsby" at the Metropolitan Opera. Leonard Bernstein chose Hadley to sing the title role in a 1989 production of his musical "Candide," and he sang the lead in Paul McCartney's "Liverpool Oratorio" in 1991.

Hadley was featured in the Leos Janacek's opera "Jenufa," which won a Grammy in 2004.

"I particularly admired the strength and sweetness of his voice in the lyric Mozart parts and the imagination and commitment he brought to contemporary works," James Levine, music director of the Metropolitan Opera, said in a statement.

Hadley in recent years had been dealing with financial problems and was being treated for depression, police said after the shooting. Nicole Richie rushed to ER: A dehydrated Nicole Richie was rushed to the hospital friday. She was filming for about 20 hours straight. Apparently she was shooting until 2:00am the night before and only got a couple of hours of sleep and skipped breakfast before returning to the set. She was given fluids and food before being released from the hospital.

Anna Nicole Smiths mother Vergie Arthur tried to stop the funeral this morning in the Bahamas. A petition was filed by Vergie Arthur to stop the burial of her late daughter. The petition was was denied by a Bahamian Court. Is it just me or is this lady acting more crazy by the day. In my opinion she is just tying to stir up more trouble. She clearly loves the media attention , she wants her 15 minutes of fame. It seems to me that Vergie Arthur cares more about her daughters death than she ever cared about her life. I am not saying that she did not love Anna, but she seems to blame an awful lot on Howard K Stern and Anna's drug problem for their estranged relationship. If she wanted a relationship with her daughter she would have not always talked trash about her on television. Maybe Anna was on to many drugs, but she clearly had a mind of her own, I do not see how Howard could have controlled her life. I think that Anna could get any one to do anything for her. Why should Howard be to blame for always caring and loving Anna. Why does everything always have to be about money? I believe that Anna's mother has been jealous of Anna's fame and now she wants to act like a caring mother and grandmother, when all she really wants is Anna's money and a piece of the fame that goes along with it. What kind of grandmother video tapes her grand sons grave and gets paid to show it on television? When she was never even welcome there in the first place. If a court grants any kind of custody to this women of her grand daughter, It will be a sad day for our justice system.. That little innocent baby is simply her ticket to wealth. The whole Anna story is such a sad one, I only hope that her daughter Dannielynn will grow up with love, compassion and a understanding of who her mother really was. I hope she will be well taken care of because she is an innocent child who deserves a healthy happy family, not someone just caring for her for all the money she is worth.

Anna Nicole Smiths funeral is set for Friday morning March 2nd at a Church in the Bahamas. It is expected that around 100 guests will attend the funeral. It is described as being an over the top funeral just like her life was states a friend of the late Model. Anna Nicole Smith will be dressed in a custom made gown. It is uncertain if the casket will be opened or closed. There is also no word yet if Anna Nicole Smiths mother Vergie Arthur will attend her late daughters funeral. On the paternity case, a Florida family court judge rejected Larry Birkheads lawyers request to take a DNA sample from Dannielynn, Anna Nicole Smiths baby that Larry Birkhead claims to have fathered. But a judge did order that the DNA taken from Anna Nicole Smiths body be preserved if needed in the Paternity test with Dannielynn. It has also been reported that Larry Birkhead met the baby Dannielynn for the first time in the Bahamas at the Horizons home she is staying, and that Anna Nicole Smiths mother Vergie Arthur also got to meet Dannielynn the following night also at the Horizon home. Does this mean some type of truce between Anna's mother, Birkhead and Stern? Or was it ordered by the Bahamian court. We are unsure at this point. Britney Spears went crazy on some photographers after leaving her soon to be Ex husbands home. Britney took an umbrella and smashed the photographers window. Not long after that Milstein announced that Anna Nicole Smith will be buried near her son in the Bahamas. I was clearly where Anna Nicole Smith would want her final resting place to be. Near her son. Britney Spears apparently checked out of rehab once again. Poor girl, she must be so mixed up. The Anna Nicole Smith story pushes on. Howard K Stern, Vergie Arthur, and Larry Birkhead all took the stand today. This story keeps getting more interesting by the day.. It is so sad that even in death, this beautiful women is still being used for publicity. Her own mother is making money off the death of her grandson and daughter. She should be ashamed of herself. After listening to her mother testify today, I see why Anna wanted to get away from her. She put on a good show though. Get on with it. Let Anna Nicole Smith be buried next to her son and rest in peace.

Well the hearing for who gets Anna Nicole Smiths body is underway. Howard K Stern just took the stand. He states that Anna Nicole Smiths wishes were to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son. Her Mother Vergie Arthur say's she entitled to her daughter's body. Even though she has admitted to not speaking to her daughter in ten years. Larry Birkhead is also present at this hearing. Larry Birkhead is claiming to be the father of Anna Nicole Smiths baby girl Dannielynn. Larry Birkhead believes that Anna's body should be released to her mother Vergie Arthur. Larry Birkhead and Vergie Athur seem to be on each others side, as they embraced each other in the court room. My point of view is that Howard K Stern looked painfully sad over the death of both Anna and her son. I realize no one really know the truth about the drugs and maybe he did allow this to happen to Anna Nicole Smith. I don't believe in any way he wanted her dead so he could have her fortune. I think he truly loved this women and would have done anything possible to make her happy. He said that on the stand today. He let her make her own choices to date others while they were together, he knew that this is how she was, and he still loved her. I just saw so much hurt in his eyes. Do I think he is the biological father to Dannielynn? No not really. I think he hopes he is, but I don't believe he really thinks he is. But in every other way he is that little girls daddy. He is all she has ever known. He has been there since day one. I think he probably feels that it is all he has left of the love of his life. It is such a sad story any way you look at it. I think the sooner all is resolved the better. Britney Spears did it again, She entered a rehabilitation center voluntarily tuesday. Since her November split with husband Kevin Federline, Britney Spears has been acting out of character with her heavy partying. It has to be so difficult being in the publics eye all the time. Being judged and having no privacy. I could not even begin to imagine. Divorce would be hard enough, but to have the media involved has to make it all the more worse. I think Britney is a good Mom, but I think she is alittle mixed up at the moment. Do I think she is the next Anna Nicole Smith like the media is making her out to be? No way, not even close. We don't even know what she entered rehab for. I think that she does have enough people in here life to help her through all this. I think she'll be okay.

US weekly is reporting that after checking herself in and out of rehab Britney Spears headed to Tarzana Salon and asked them to shave her head. When the hairdresser refused , Britney Spears grabbed the hair clippers and starting shaving it herself. After Spears shaved her head she then went over to Body & Soul Tattoo and got two new tattoo's. Some are worried that this fallen pop princess is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. There have been reports that her friends and family staged an intervention last week and that was why Britney checked herself into rehab, but then 24 hours later checked herself out, because it just was not for her. There are still so many twists and turns to update on the Anna Nicole tragedy. Thursday February 15th a judge ordered another DNA sample to be taken from Anna Nicole Smiths Body. Smiths long time companion Howard K Stern, and Anna Nicole Smiths estranged mother, Vergie Arthur each want to win control over her body. Vergie Arthur wants Anna Nicole Smith to be buried in Texas, and Howard K Stern insists that Anna Nicole Smith should and wanted to be buried next to her son in the Bahamas. Photographer Larry Birkhead, who claims to have fathered Anna Nicole Smiths baby girl Dannielynn, hopes DNA taken from Smith will prove his case. The judge stated thursday this dispute could be lengthy "We're going to have hearings as many hearing as we need." Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin said wednesday.
Back in the Bahamas crime scene investigators worked thursday at the house shared by Anna Nicole Smith and her partner Howard K Stern. They were there to investigate the theft of a computer and other items. Stern who was at the mansion thursday during the inspection filed a burglary report after claiming that a computer, home vidoes and other personal items of Anna Nicole Smith were taken from the the mansion before he returned from Florida shortly after Anna Nicole Smiths death on February 8, 2007.

The death of Anna Nicole is still clearly a mystery. Over the weekend, many of the major players in the Smith made their way to the Bahamas to continue to wage their battles. Howard K Stern to reclaim the home he shared with Anna Nicole and to maintain custody of five month old Dannielynn. Virgie Arthur, Anna estranged mother also headed to the Bahamas in hopes of meeting her granddaughter. In which Howard vows to keep Dannielynn from ever meeting her. Stern was the first to arrive in Nassau friday and immediately reunited with Dannielynn, who had been staying in Horizons, the waterfront home Stern and Smith shared, the baby was under the care of Sterns mother and sister.
Upon his arrival, Stern noticed that several items from the home had gone missing and filed a report with Nassau's Royal Bahamiam police. Ownership of the home has been a source of contention over the past few months. Smith claimed the property was hers, and it was in fact her alleged deed to the estate that enabled her to become a resident of the Bahamas last fall. However real estate developer G Ben Thompson claimed Horizons was his, that he simply let Smith live there. A Feb.26 hearing has been set to determine the propertys ownership. It has also been reported that Larry Birkhead is now in the Bahamas. He would like to have have the DNA test to determine that Dannielynn is in fact his daughter and not Howard K Sterns. Celebrity - Anna Nicole Smith's last film due in May on DVD

The last movie made by stripper-turned-celebrity Anna Nicole Smith, a sci-fi comedy titled "Illegal Aliens," will be released on DVD in May, its distributor said on Tuesday.

The film stars Smith, who died last week in Florida, as one of three aliens who transform themselves into "super-hot babes and arrive to protect the Earth from intergalactic forces of evil," according to press materials from MTI Home Video, which will distribute the movie through DVD outlets.
MTI spokesman Ed Baran described "Illegal Aliens," which is unrated, as a low-budget, deliberately "high-camp" production in which Smith lampoons her own ditsy sex-bomb image.
A trailer, posted on the Web site of the production company, Edgewood Studios (www.edgewoodstudios.com), shows Smith's character, Lucy, shouting, "Nobody sticks a missile in Lucy's butt and gets away with it!"

In another scene, she appears tied up to a chair and laments, "Who do I have to screw to get off this movie?"

Smith invested her own money in the project and even took part in scripting her role. Her son, Daniel, who died in the Bahamas in September at age 20, three days after Smith gave birth to her daughter, was credited as an associate producer on the film, Baran said.

"A lot of people really want to make her out to be some idiot but I really don't think that she was," Baran said. "She's poking fun at herself within the film so I think it's pretty damn smart."

The former stripper and Playboy magazine centerfold died Thursday of unknown causes while enmeshed in a paternity suit over her infant daughter and a long-running dispute over the fortune left by an elderly oil tycoon she married in 1994.

Smith, who was 39, previously starred in her own cable TV reality series, "The Anna Nicole Smith Show." She appeared a handful of movies, beginning in 1994 with "The Hudsucker Proxy" and the big-screen spoof "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult.
